St James Church is part of the whole body of Christ.
We believe that God is our Father in heaven.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son & our Saviour.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is our enabler and comforter.
Children's work takes place in the Church Hall during this service.
We have Bible-based sermons relating the Word of God to the lives of His people. We sing contemporary worship songs, which lead us into the presence of God.
We encourage the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be exercised in order to build up the life of the church.
Our local MP said “This is the most welcoming church I’ve ever been in”.
Our main church service takes places on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. You will find us to be an informal, friendly church, open to both young and old, families and single people alike.

Good News
I'm glad I have faith. When all around me I hear bad news I know really that there is good news when we understand God's ways are actually better than our ways. When God has healed us we actually understand He needs to heal us a bit more. Along the way our little bit of heaven on earth expands and good events spring along the way. In the coming months you can meet the man who died from box jelly fish stings and came back to life again. Or you can ask Caz lots of difficult questions.
